It’s always exciting to see what the geniuses at Maserati come up with. Their latest brainchild, it appears, is a sleek, four-seater convertible to be called the Maserati GranCabrio. The GranCabrio is the Italian make’s first convertible, and the make’s third production model line (the first two being the Quattroporte and the GranTurismo).

The GranCabrio has yet to make its public debut, and the big reveal is going to be at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show. Until then, here’s a teaser shot to tide us over.
