Asian car make Mitsubishi has revealed its offering at the coming 2009 Tokyo Auto Show: the Mitsubishi PX-MiEV plug-in hybrid crossover concept.

The concept car will feature an all-wheel drive system and two motors at each axle for power. In EV mode, the PX-MiEV offers a 30-mile range; for longer trips, a 1.6-liter I-4 is available. Standard safety features include an around-view monitor and a proximity warning system.

The concept car can also be charged through 120 or 240-volt electric power outlets. Mitsubishi’s currently developing a high-voltage quick charger for the PX-MiEV.
