Nissan’s luxury marque Infiniti has announced that a hybrid version of the 2011 M35 will be available as a 2012 model. The hybrid M35 will be the first green car to roll out of Nissan’s factories.
Powering the hybrid M35 is a 3.5-liter V6 engine with an electric motor, which helps pick up the load during heavy acceleration. Laminated battery packs also come as standard features; the battery packs reportedly lower operating temperatures.
For now, only pictures of the M35 are available. More will definitely be revealed as the 2009 Tokyo Auto Show draws nearer.
