Amp Up Your Import’s Power

When you drive an import car, it’s easy to put the pedal to the metal and zoom down the highway. This is largely due to your import car’s powerful engine. But if you’re not satisfied and you want to push the engine’s power output a little bit higher, what you need to do is simple. The trick is to equip your import car’s engine with an air management system.

First, you need to get air into the engine bay. And we’re talking about cool, clean air here. For your import car’s engine, cool, oxygen molecule-filled air is more beneficial than warm, oxygen molecule-sparse air. An increased amount of oxygen in the engine’s cylinders makes for more efficient fuel combustion. Cool air can help lower your engine’s temperature. And when the engine receives clean air, no contaminants enter the engine bay. This prevents the abrasion of moving engine parts.

So how exactly do you make sure the engine gets the air it needs? The solution is to install a well-designed cold air intake and a durable air filter in your vehicle. These parts guarantee to provide your engine with a steady supply of combustion-friendly, refreshing air.

And to complement air intake for your import car’s engine, you could also update your vehicle’s exhaust system. Installing a header for the engine’s fuel combustion cylinders is a surefire way to increase your car’s horsepower. With a multi-valve header, exhaust gas flow is quick and unrestricted. This way, your import car engine doesn’t waste any power in fighting exhaust backpressure. The engine’s power output is focused on delivering speed and smooth, easy driving.

Just remember to never compromise quality for economy, when it comes to your import car. These performance-enhancing parts may be on the expensive side, but you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Besides, grabbing the attention of pedestrians and other motorists on the road is pretty sweet, too. :)

Think Twice Before You Modify

Think Twice Before You Modify

Thinking about tricking out your import car? You might want to think again.

Sure, modifying your import car can mean added power and fierce looks. But you have to remember that In every change you make in your vehicle disturbs a harmonious balance. Is your pocket ready for the costs of changing your vehicle’s engine and aesthetic setup? Are you willing to put in the hard work and effort needed to properly modify your vehicle?

Let’s talk about your import car’s power and performance. To get the thrill of driving, turning, and braking at high speeds, it’s not enough to simply install a turbocharger in your import car. If you opt for a turbocharger alone, then you can expect a slew of troubles and accidents on the road. You also have to update systems that work with the engine, to make sure that these systems (such as the suspension and transmission) can handle the engine’s kicked-up power output.

Also, if you opt to change just one part in one of your import car’s systems, you run a high risk of damaging the system entirely. And we all know that looking for replacement parts for import cars can be a pain the neck. This is especially true if you own European import cars.

When it comes to an import car’s aesthetics, isn’t it better to keep things simple? Surely, its handsome exterior is one of the reasons why you went for an import car in the first place. Furnishing your import car’s exterior with the wrong accessories can throw off your vehicle’s entire look.

But of course, if you’ve got your heart (and wallet) set on modifying your import car, then by all means, go ahead. This humble author just thinks that, in some cases, simple is best. :) Good luck to all import car-modifiers! :)
