If you happen to be both a videogame racing junkie and a hardcore sports car fan, then you’re in luck.
The Ferrari 458 Italia and the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG are set to be featured in Gran Turismo 5 for the Playstation 3. Personally, I’m excited as hell. Since the Italia and the SLS AMG are way out of my league, then getting behind their videogame counterparts is definitely the next best thing.
Gran Turismo 5, according to Reuters, will be launched in 2010.

Of all the perks that come with being royalty, specially customized cars take the cake.
Apparently the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi wasn’t satisfied with the way the Mercedes Benz G55 AMG looked. So they commissioned the folks at German tuning firm A.R.T to build a unique car with the G55 AMG as a base.
AS55K YAAS Edition
A.R.T definitely rose to the occasion, coming up with the AS55K YAAS Edition. With this luxury 4×4’s features, you’ll be hard-pressed to find something similarly designed. The exterior is in Obsidian black, with carbonized surfaces, and aerodynamic exterior parts. Accents are in stainless steel. Six chrome-plated tailpipes, complete with an A.R.T. logo, peek out from under the rear bumper.
The interior is decadent, to say the least. The upholstery is leather, of course, velour leather to be exact. Nappa leather is also used, as well as alcantara in cinnamon and anthracite hues. Leather-edged carpets are on the car’s floors. And the steering wheel sports a gold, carbonized finish.
The car’s under-hood setup is likewise impressive. The 5.3-liter V8 engine is capable of providing up to 620 hp at 880 rpm.
